Lydia Bohling (born March 31, 1930 in Wesermünde , today Bremerhaven ) is a German politician. She was a member of the Bremen Citizenship ( CDU ).

Bohling went to school in Wesermünde- Wulsdorf , after completing her training as a private secretary and accountant in Bremerhaven, she also worked in her husband's company.

She has been a member of the CDU since 1974 and was a member of the city ​​council in Bremerhaven from 1979 to 1983 . From 1983 to 1995 she was in the 11th, 12th and 13th electoral terms a member of the Bremen citizenship (Landtag) and in the deputations for education / culture / science, youth welfare, and the petition and equal rights committee.

Bohling is the deputy chairwoman of the North Sea Museum in Bremerhaven . She sat down in 2016 by a petition with 2,400 signatures for the preservation of the Low German language in order the closure of the Institute for Low German language to avoid.

Bohling is widowed in 2015, one of her two sons is Jan Erik Bohling .
