Lynet in Fårup Sommerland ( Saltum , Denmark ) is a steel roller coaster of the Launch-Coaster model from Gerstlauer Amusement Rides , which opened on June 5, 2008.

The 540 m long track, of which Lynet is the only model in the world so far, reaches a height of 20 m. The trolleys are accelerated from 0 to 80 km / h within 2 seconds using linear motors (LSM).

In the same park there was a family roller coaster called Mini-Lynet from 2003 to 2008 . Originally opened as Lynet , it was renamed Mini-Lynet in 2008.

Trains

Lynet owns four cars. Six people (three rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.

Awards
