The lake Lyngnstøylvatnet lies in the valley Norangsdalen on the territory of the municipality Ørsta in the Norwegian province Møre og Romsdal . It was created in 1908 after a landslide slowly dammed the River Lyng. Nine houses and an alpine pasture sank in the floods. These can still be seen in the clear water today. The lake is at Fylkesvei 655.
