Lynne Maria Frederick (born July 25, 1954 in Hillingdon , England - † April 27, 1994 in Los Angeles , California ) was a British actress .

Frederick caused almost as much sensation through her private life as through her film career. The latter began in 1970 and initially resulted in a number of costume films. However, she has also appeared in horror and science fiction films; many television films, two spaghetti westerns and finally The Prisoner of Zenda with Peter Sellers can also be found in her filmography.

In 1977 she became Peter Sellers' fourth and last wife, who inherited almost all of his fortune when he died, although rumors of an impending separation had spread. During his lifetime she was accused of marrying him only because of his fortune. After his death she entered into two more marriages; first with David Frost - this only lasted a year. Their last marriage, which was divorced in 1991, had a daughter. After Frederick's death at the age of 40 from years of alcohol and drug abuse, her mother inherited the entire fortune. Her ashes were buried in the Golders Green Crematorium in London next to that of Peter Sellers.
