Lyra Jakulevičienė

Lyra Jakulevičienė (ex. Vysockienė ; born November 6, 1974 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, international lawyer , asylum lawyer , professor at the Mykolas-Romer University and lecturer at Vilnius University .

Life

After graduating from the 48th Vilnius Middle School, she studied at the Vilnius School of Languages ​​and Commerce from 1991 to 1993 and law at the Vilnius University from 1992 to 1997. She then completed her doctorate at Vilnius University until 2001. On December 19, 2001, she did her doctorate on “ Asylum : International Obligations of States and EU Law .” Jakulevičienė was awarded the 2006 Prize of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences for her monograph “Pabėgėlių teisė” in the Young Scientists Section . In 2008 she completed her habilitation in asylum law.

In 1997 she worked as a specialist in the Ministry of Europe in Lithuania , then in international organizations in Ukraine , Turkey and Sweden . From 2001 to 2003 she was a lecturer at the Law University of Lithuania and from 2004 to 2009 as a lecturer at the Chair of International Law . Since September 2009 she has been a professor at the MRU. In 2013 she was a candidate for judge at the European Court of Human Rights .

She is married to manager Adrijus Jakulevičius (in the second marriage). In the first marriage she was married to Visockas.

She speaks Lithuanian, English, Russian, French and Tamil.
