The EEV 16-21 were passenger train - steam locomotives of the First Transylvanian Railway (Első Erdélyi Vasút, EEV).

The six machines were delivered by Sigl in Wiener Neustadt in 1868 . They were given road numbers 16-21.

In the course of the nationalization that took place in 1884, the Hungarian State Railways (MÁV) initially gave them the numbers 295-300, from 1891 in the second designation scheme the category IIl with the numbers 1216-1221. From 1911 they were listed as 258.001–005.
