Mälik Kengesbajuly Myrsalin ( Kazakh Мәлік Кеңесбайұлы Мырзалин , Russian Малик Кенесбаевич Мурзалин ; born October 31, 1971 in Aktyubinsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician.

Life

Mälik Myrsalin was born in Aktyubinsk in 1971 . He graduated in 1996, the State Institute of International Relations in Moscow from. In 2006 he graduated from the Yale School of Management at Yale University in the United States .

He started his career in 1996 at the Kazakh Embassy in Russia , where he held various positions. Between 2004 and 2006 he worked in the administration of the Äkim (governor) of Northern Kazakhstan and from 2006 to 2007 he was Deputy Äkim of Northern Kazakhstan. Until November 2008 he then held the position of the first deputy Äkim of Northern Kazakhstan. He then was deputy head of the central office of the Nur Otan party until December 2009 . In 2010 he was briefly advisor to the President of the Kazakh Railroad Company in Kazakhstan Temir Scholy before he became head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan from May 2010. Since August 2011 he has been employed by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Religious Affairs. From July 2013 he was deputy head of the presidential administration and from January to March 2017 first deputy head of the presidential administration of Kazakhstan. On March 14, 2017, he was appointed Äkim (governor) of the Aqmola region .

He has been Deputy Head of the Kazakh Presidential Administration since March 19, 2019.
