The Mözener See is a lake in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein west of the village of Mözen . It is about 120 hectares and up to 8.2 m deep. The lake lies on the edge of a young moraine area , which has both flat terminal moraines and domed ground moraines. On the shore of the lake there are predominantly forest areas, some of the shore areas are also used for agriculture.
The lake is owned by the Mözener See fishing cooperative. Bathing is allowed, driving with motorized vehicles is strictly regulated. There are two campsites in Wittenborn by the lake and a swimming area in Kükels on the east bank .
