The Mühlenpfad (Ottweiler) is a premium hiking trail in Saarland. It got its name because it passes three former mill locations in the valley of the Oster (Blies) and a former mill location on Lautenbach.

The mill trail begins at the Werns mill at the southern exit of Fürth in the Ostertal. This mill was the only oil mill among the four mills. It was restored in 1995 and can be visited, in the building there is a country inn. Right at the beginning of the path you cross the Oster and follow its course in a southerly direction. After one kilometer you reach the former location of the Brille Mühle, which was acquired by the country and demolished. The reservoir planned there in the valley of the Oster was never realized. After a short time you reach the Steinbach going uphill. The section that follows is identical to the Steinbach path . After crossing the brook, walk about a kilometer through the Osteraue before reaching the third mill, the Hanauer Mühle. There the path separates from the Steinbachpfad and you cross the country road and the Oster and in the further course of the path you reach the Lautenbach, which flows into the Oster. Here the Hangarder Brunnenpfad is identical to the Mühlenpfad over a length of one kilometer. Both paths lead for the most part directly along the Lautenbach and you reach the Ebertsquelle. The mill path separates here and follows the course of the stream until after a kilometer the last mill comes into view. The Eichelthaler Mühle was a grain mill and in operation until 1988. The mill path now runs through the Jungewald in a northerly direction. On the heights of the ridge you can see a wind turbine in the immediate vicinity before you go back down the valley to Fürth. Here you can also return to the starting point of the path.
