The house at Mühltalstraße 5 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt .
History and description
The house was built in the middle of the 19th century . Stylistically, the building belongs to late classicism . The gable , two-storey , detached house has a gable roof . Due to its restrained architectural decoration, the building looks like a narrow strip of cornice between the floors, emphasized building corners with plaster strips , finely profiled window walls , window canopies , lattice windows and folding shutters . The plot is by a fence with a wrought-iron Biedermeier bar fencing with door and sandstone posts limited. Also of note is the coat of arms of the former Simon distillery .
Monument protection
The residential building was declared a cultural monument for architectural, architectural and city-historical reasons .
