Münsterland Cabaret Prize
The Münsterland cabaret prize "Der Kiep" has been awarded every two years since 1996. The cabaret competition is determined in the city of Haltern by the “Kulturboitel” as part of the “Cabaret and Comedy Festival” and is called “Kiep”, named after the Kiepenkerl .
In addition to a cash prize, the winner receives a - reduced - replica of the sculpture created by the Haltern artist Ulrich Schriewer . This original sculpture is in Haltern near the train station .
