The low-floor - articulated bus NG 272 (2) of the MAN appeared in 1992 , the successor of the MAN NG272 on. From this series onwards, it had the new internal MAN name A11 . Visually, this articulated pusher bus largely corresponded to the MAN NG 272. The biggest difference was the low-platform arrangement of the seats in the front section and a kink in the baseline of the windows in front of the central axis. It was still run as a separate series. Like its predecessor, this bus was available with three and four doors.
A natural gas bus version of this construction was also developed - under the name MAN NG 232 CNG (A18), or its successor in small numbers, the MAN NG 233 CNG and, in very few copies, the MAN NG 312 CNG and the MAN NG 313 CNG , before the bus front was changed (CNG = Compressed Natural Gas ).
From 1995 Euro-2 - diesel engines installed in the rear and the type designation accordingly NG 262 and NG 312 changed.
The NG 272, NG 262 and NG 312 have now been withdrawn from the transport companies . A MAN NG 262 is received from the City-Verkehr eV association . It is a former bus from Stadtwerke Hamm with car number 84.
