The SG 220 is a bus from MAN , which came onto the market in 1978 as the successor to the MAN SG 192 .

Like the MAN SG 192 , it was also offered with a VÖV front and a StÜlB front. It was the last MAN model in Germany with an underfloor engine and a trailer from Göppel in Augsburg . It was also available as an intercity bus with a length of 16.48 m and 18 m and various door arrangements.

In 1980 it was replaced by the MAN SG 240 H and production was discontinued in 1983 .
