The MAO College (or Muhammedan Anglo-Oriental College ; "Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College") was an Islamic college in India. This was founded by Sayyid Ahmad Khan , the leader of the "Muslim Renaissance", on the Indian subcontinent in 1875 in Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh). This became the Aligarh Muslim University in 1920 .
There is also an MAO college in Lahore , Pakistan.
