Maarten Lammen (born October 4, 1982 in Leverkusen ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

In his youth, Lammen played indoor volleyball in his hometown at TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In 1999 the player switched to the second division club SV Bayer Wuppertal 2 . In 2002 Lammen returned to Leverkusen, where he played in the Regionalliga West and in 2009 made it to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the second half of the 2009/10 season he was active at the second division club SV Lindow / Gransee .

Career Beach

Lammen has also been active in beach volleyball since 1997. At the side of Matthias Karger , he was U20 European champion in Nuremberg in 2000 , finished fifth at the U21 World Championships in Le Lavandou (France) in 2001 and won bronze at the U21 World Championships in Catania (Italy) in 2002 . Karger / Lammen played at national tournaments until 2003 and won bronze at the 2004 Student World Cup in Thailand . In 2004 Lammen formed a duo with Drazen Slacanin . From 2005 to 2008 he started with Martin Kern . At the German Championships in Timmendorfer Strand in 2005, Kern / Lammen finished ninth and in 2006 and 2007 fifth. In 2009 Stefan Uhmann was his partner. After a doping violation by Uhmann in July, Lammen ended his beach career.
