Maaspoort Sports & Events (also called Sportcentrum de Maaspoort ) is a multifunctional hall in 's-Hertogenbosch .

history

The hall was opened on September 2, 1982. It has a capacity of 3500 seats, which can be increased to 4000 visitors for concerts. Prominent guests in the house included Tina Turner , Kid Creole & the Coconuts , The Trammps , Barry White , Aha and the Kelly Family . Doe Maar gave their farewell concert here in 1984 .

Top sporting events were the Top 12 table tennis tournament in 1984 and the pre-Olympic basketball tournament in 1987. In 2006, the European Badminton Championships were held here. The New Heroes Den Bosch basketball team has its home here.
