The MacKinnon Glacier is a glacier in the Bowers Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Lanterman Range, it flows north along the western flank of Reilly Ridge to Sledgers Glacier .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 after geologist David Ironside MacKinnon, who worked in the area between 1974 and 1975 as part of a campaign by the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program .
