Moadon Kadu rule Maccabi Jaffa ( Hebrew מועדון כדורגל מכבי יפו, dt. "Soccer Club Maccabi Jaffa") was a soccer club from Tel Aviv-Jaffa in Israel .
history
The club was founded in 1949 and played the first season in the first division in 1955/56 . The following year, the team failed in the cup final against Hapoel Petach Tikwa with 1: 2.
The team was runner-up three times, in 1961/62, 1963/64 and 1976/77. In that year they also played in the Intertoto Cup , but only finished last in the group stage.
There are a total of 32 seasons in the first division . In the period from 1994 to 1999 the team shuttled between the first division and the second division. The club lost its license in 1999 due to financial problems and was then dissolved.
