history
The club was founded in 1973 as the Machhindra Football Team. The association was named after a deity of the central Kathmandu region, the white Machhindra Nath . The club started in the D division and rose to a division in each of the following years. When the 2nd place in the B division was occupied, the ANFA decided that there would only be one instead of the previous two climbers. Until 2005, the club spent his time in the second division of Nepal before he was promoted to the first division. In the last played 2006/07 season, the club finished 6th.
