The machin nunatak is a small and dome-shaped nunatak in Mac-Robertson Land, east Antarctica . In the southern part of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 11 km east of Mount Cresswell .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 and 1960 were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him Douglas Keith Machin (* 1927), a radio operator on Mawson Station in 1960.
