Mackellar (constituency)

Mackellar is one of 150 constituencies used to elect the Australian House of Representatives . It is located in the northeast of the Sydney metropolitan area in the state of New South Wales . The constituency includes the towns of Narrabeen , Beacon Hill , Newport , Palm Beach and Terrey Hills .

It was named after the Australian writer Dorothea Mackellar and created in 1949.

Jason Falinski of the Liberal Party of Australia has been the incumbent MP for the constituency since 2016 .
