Mad Merkel - The Queen of Berlin is a radio comedy series in which Chancellor Angela Merkel and other nationally known politicians are parodied. The series started in late 2005 and consisted of more than 500 episodes by July 2008. The program is produced by the Cologne-based company spotting image and runs on various local radio stations. The episodes include the parodists of Edmund Stoiber , Gerhard Schröder , Franz Müntefering , Wolfgang Schäuble , Ulla Schmidt and many other politicians.

The group of politicians experiences various adventures or deals with current political issues. The series begins with the sentence Mad Merkel - The Queen of Berlin and the final sentence is Mad Merkel - Now a rock goes through Germany .

Mad Merkel is spoken by Martina Brandl .
