Martina Brandl
Martina Brandl (born May 16, 1966 in Geislingen an der Steige ) is a German cabaret artist , writer and singer .
Career
After graduating from high school at Michelberggymnasium in Geislingen and training as a business correspondent, she came to street theater through tap dancing and juggling.
She has been on stage since 1992. In 1993 she sang in various musicals and revues in the Theater des Westens and appeared as a soloist in the Berlin cabaret scene . She presented her first cabaret program Cabaret Kebap - Heiße Hits & kalter Döner (duo with Mario Eckardt) in 1995. From 1998 she co-moderated the program Crème Frech on WDR television.
Together with Ganz Schön Feist she received the audience award at the Prix Pantheon in 1998 .
Martina Brandl became known nationwide in cabaret programs by Richard Rogler and Hanns Dieter Hüsch as well as through guest appearances on 7 Tage, 7 Köpfe .
With her ninth solo program, Already something with sex , she is currently traveling nationwide. She is the only woman who moderates regularly in the Quatsch Comedy Clubs in Berlin and Hamburg.
She is the voice of Angela Merkel in the radio comedy Angie - The Queen of Berlin .
After twenty years in Berlin, Martina Brandl now lives in southern Germany again.
The novels Halbnackte Bauarbeiter (2006), Glatte Runde Dinger (2008) and Black Oranges (2011) were published by Fischer Verlag . Her first children's book, Killi's First Adventure , was published in October 2012 .
