Madalena de Jolda is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the northern Portuguese district of Arcos de Valdevez . 347 inhabitants lived in the municipality (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Jolda (Madalena) and Rio Cabrão were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Jolda (Madalena) e Rio Cabrão . Jolda (Madalena) is the seat of this newly formed community.
