Madeleine Williams (born March 28, 1983 in Rocky Mountain House ) is a Canadian former cross-country skier .

Career

Williams participated in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski from 2000 to 2010 . From 2004 she mainly competed in the Nor Am Cup . She took seven wins and won the overall standings in the 2008/09 season. Her first of a total of 15 World Cup races she ran in December 2005 in Vernon , which she finished with 43rd place in the skiathlon . Her first and only World Cup points she got in January 2009 in Whistler with the 22nd place in the 15 km skiathlon race. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she reached 50th place in the 10 km freestyle, 45th place in the 30 km mass start race, 40th place in the skiathlon and 15th place with the relay.
