Madlenka Scholze

Madlenka Scholze ( Upper Sorbian Madleńka Šołćic ; * 1975 ) is a Sorbian author, editor and dramaturge.

She grew up bilingual in Cunnewitz near Kamenz and now lives in Bautzen . She studied Sorabistics and journalism in Leipzig . In 2003 she received her diploma as a dramaturge.

Her career at Sorbian Broadcasting began in 1999 when she founded the Sorbian youth program Radio Satkula , on which she worked as a presenter. Later she worked as a presenter and editor of the Serbski rozhłós (Sorbian Radio). She also worked for the Upper Sorbian television program Wuhladko . Today she is, among other things, the author and director of the Sorbian children's greeting Dobre ranje .

Madlenka Scholze works as a dramaturge and since 2011 as the deputy director for Sorbian theater at the German-Sorbian People's Theater in Bautzen.
