Wuhladko

Wuhladko (Upper Sorbian for "view") is the name of a half-hour television program in Upper Sorbian , which has been broadcast monthly since 2001 under the moderation of Bogna Koreng from Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR). The program mainly deals with Sorbian issues from Upper Lusatia , but also deals with politics from Saxony and Germany that affect the Sorbs throughout Lusatia .

Contributions to the culture, everyday life, politics, traditions etc. of the Sorbian people can be seen. The contributions are subtitled in German.

The Upper Sorbian television program Wuhladko is the counterpart to the Lower Sorbian program “ Łužyca(Lausitz) , which in turn has been broadcast every 4 weeks by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB; before it was founded, by the ORB ). Christian Matthée moderates the Lower Sorbian TV magazine alternately with Anja Pohontsch .
