Satkula radio

Radio Satkula ( Upper Sorbian Radijo Satkula ) is a youth magazine in Upper Sorbian . The broadcast is produced by the Sorbian Radio of the MDR in Bautzen and is named after the Satkula stream , a tributary of the monastery water .

The radio broadcast started in April 1999 with an hour of broadcasting time. According to inquiries and requests from interested listeners, the broadcasting time was extended to two hours from May 7, 2001. In addition to the radio work, the Radio Satkula team also organizes competitions for young people and children in Lusatia (e.g. Tour de Satkula ).

Radio Satkula is broadcast weekly on Monday evenings.
