Nicholas Brett "Nicky" Hunt (born September 3, 1983 in Westhoughton near Bolton ) is an English football player who plays for Leyton Orient .

Career

The right-back has been a huge Bolton Wanderers fan since high school . He made his competitive debut for the Trotters in the 2000/01 season in England's second division in the last championship game before Bolton's promotion to Sheffield United . Hunt made his Premier League debut on August 16, 2003 against Manchester United . The Englishman has now played over 100 appearances for "his" club, which he only left on short-term loan in 2008 for eleven league games at Birmingham City . Internationally, Hunt played ten times for the English U-21 team .

Hunt was loaned out to Derby County in January 2010 for the remainder of the season. At the beginning of the Football League Championship 2010/11 he moved to the English second division club Bristol City .
