Madretsch Süd ( French Madretsch sud ) is the second largest quarter in terms of population in the city of Biel / Bienne . It covers the southern part of the former municipality of Madretsch . It is located on the southern edge of the urban settlement area and borders on Brügg , Nidau , Port and the Längholz forest. The river Zihl flows at the very edge . This quarter is divided into the Möösli, Mühlefeld and Linde districts
