Madretsch , formerly Mardrez , is a former municipality in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

It was incorporated into the city of Biel (BE) in 1920 and is now part of Biel / Bienne . For statistical purposes, a distinction is made between the districts of Madretsch North and Madretsch South .
