Magda Szubanski
Magdalene Mary Szubanski AO (born April 12, 1961 in Liverpool ) is an Australian actress , comedian and author .
Life
Szubanski attended Siena College in Melbourne and studied art and philosophy at Melbourne University . From 1998 to 1992 she starred in the television series Fast Forward and from 2002 to 2007 she played the character Sharon Strzelecki in the Australian comedy television series . As an actress, she worked in various film and theater productions. In February 2012, Szubanski came out as homosexual.
