The house at Magdalenenstrasse 19 was built around 1600. Stylistically, the building belongs to the Renaissance . The house comes from the first phase of construction in the old suburb.
The two-storey plastered house has a gable roof . The cornice strips are missing in the tail gable . At the beginning of the 20th century, the side entrance was changed. In 1981 the lattice windows were renewed according to the historical model.
Monument protection
The house at Magdalenenstrasse 19 is a typical example of the renaissance style in Darmstadt. For architectural and city history reasons, the building is considered a cultural monument .
