The Magellan Publishing is a children's and youth book publishing company based in Bamberg . It is part of the Bamberger VerlagsGruppe GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to the publisher, this also includes the school book publisher CC Buchner .

history

Magellan Verlag was founded in 2013 by Bamberger VerlagsGruppe GmbH & Co. KG. Ralf Rebscher is the managing director of Magellan Verlag. The program includes picture, children's and youth books.

Magellan is an independent children's and youth book publisher. As an “innovative bookmaker” he wants to win over readers with a new way of making books. With sophisticated titles that stand out from the mainstream in terms of content, appearance and feel. In autumn 2014 the publisher started with the first titles - for readers from 2 to 18 years.

The publisher publishes exclusively on paper. The publishing house is named after the discoverer Ferdinand Magellan . The publisher's logo is a stylized whale.
