Katrin Zipse

Katrin Zipse (* 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German writer , radio play author and director .

Life

Katrin Zipse studied theater studies and German philology at the Free University of Berlin , she also worked at the theater for several years. For the Südwestrundfunk Zipse has been operating since 1993 as a radio play dramaturge and editor. She writes radio plays, directs radio plays and has also acted as a speaker in some productions.

Together with the moderator and actor Malte Arkona , Katrin Zipse wrote a non-fiction book for children entitled Why do we not have a king? . In 2014 and 2015, her youth novels Glücksdrachenzeit and Die Quersum von Liebe were published .

The author, who has received several awards, lives in Baden-Baden.
