Nikola Richter

Nikola Richter (born June 19, 1976 in Bremen ) is a German writer .

biography

Richter studied German , English and comparative literature at the University of Tübingen , the University of East Anglia (UK) and the Free University of Berlin and worked as a language lecturer at the University of Pécs in (Hungary).

In 2001 she founded the online literary magazine schriftstelle.de and together with Timo Berger , the Berlin reading stage heel visch & . She published short stories and poetry and worked as a playwright . Her texts have appeared in magazines such as Das Gedicht , ndl , Lauter keine and Edit and in anthologies such as Lyrik von Jetzt .

Richter lives in Berlin as an author. From 2009 to 2010 she worked on the board for the network for Eastern Europe reporting . In 2013 she founded the digital-first-Verlag mikrotext . She is also a member of the PEN Center Germany .
