Benno Schurr

Benno Schurr (born December 17, 1919 in Böttingen ; † May 30, 2002 in Baden-Baden ) was a German radio play director and author .

He also worked as a radio play speaker on the radio. Later he worked as the head of a children's radio editorial office. Occasionally he appeared as the author of his own radio plays for the SWR ( Die Unberechenbare , 1956; NA 2002). From the early 1960s he created numerous radio plays for children and young people based on literary models such as Jules Verne , Karl May , Gerdt von Bassewitz , Erich Kästner and Wolfgang Ecke or TV series such as Fury or the three-part Robbi, Tobbi and the Fliewatüüt based on Boy Lornsen .

His name also appears in the discographies as a copywriter for the singers Edina Pop and Géraldine Olivier .
