Ludwig Thiesen

Ludwig Thiesen (born December 10, 1928 in Cologne ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1947, he began studying acting in Cologne. The first small roles followed on the stages of the city of Cologne . After taking his final exam with Gustaf Gründgens in Düsseldorf , his theater career began in 1951.

Engagements took him to the Zimmertheater in Aachen , the Theater am Niederrhein in Kleve , the Kammerspiele in Düsseldorf , the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn and the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe .

Thiesen took on several roles in television productions. Since 1959 he has been part of the artistic ensemble of Südwestfunk in Baden-Baden . He worked extensively in radio and dubbing .

His early radio appearances included the role of Michael Baxter in the Paul Temple radio play Paul Temple and the Curzon case and in 1953 Bert Walters in Paul Temple and the Vandyke case (directed by Eduard Hermann ) by Francis Durbridge with René Deltgen . In 1966 he spoke to Lucas in Paul Temple and the Geneva case (directed by Otto Düben ).
