Swabian Stories is a German television series . The series has only one season with 10 episodes and was broadcast from February 23, 1963 to January 24, 1966 on ARD .

action

The mayor of the small community of Bad Krottenbrunn, Gottfried Gscheidle, is a widower and lives with his almost adult daughter Liesel and his sister Gerlinde in a common household. As a Swabian rascal, he overcomes the daily problems in local politics with tactical calculation, sovereignty and humor. The resistance that often arises in the municipal council is so cunningly cleared out of the way by him.
