Life
Clausnitzer worked as an actor in several fairy tale films in the 1950s. He played the prince in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1955). After that, his appearances in film and television became less frequent, but his voice became much better known to cinema and television viewers.
Clausnitzer was one of the speakers for Fox's sonorous newsreel and moderated the music journal on BR1 for many years . But he was particularly present as a voice actor. Since 1956 Clausnitzer has lent his voice to prominent colleagues, including Roger Moore , for whom he has been the German standard voice for a long time with a few exceptions (including in Die 2 ), including in all James Bond films, James Garner ( Infam ), Cary Grant ( Notorious ), Richard Attenborough ( Young Man from a Good House ), Montgomery Clift ( Suddenly Last Summer ), Anthony Hopkins ( The Arnhem Bridge , 18 Hours to Eternity or Between the Lines ) or Ronald Reagan ( The Dollar Rain ) . In addition, Clausnitzer was the announcer and voiceover in Thomas Gottschalk's RTL personality show Gottschalk . When Roger Moore appeared among the guests in a program on the subject of James Bond, Clausnitzer was asked to sit on the studio sofa as his spokesman and Gottschalk and Moore asked about his dubbing work.
In addition to his acting activities, Clausnitzer had also completed a medical degree. With the dissertation Mental illness and life stress he was in 1989 at the Technical University of Munich to Dr. med. PhD .
