Agents live lonely (Original title: Bed & Breakfast ) is a crime comedy with Roger Moore from 1992. Directed by Robert Ellis Miller .
action
In the small coastal town of Peelers Point in the US state of Maine, the widowed Claire runs a small pension together with her mother-in-law Ruth and daughter Cassie. During a morning stroll, daughter Cassie comes across an unconscious man on the beach who resembles James Bond. The unconscious man is looked after by the women, and since he has apparently lost his memory, he is also accepted as a roommate. Daughter Cassie baptizes the nameless man Adam. But Adam has by no means lost his memory: he only intends to hide with the women from the henchmen of a banker who want to kill him. Meanwhile, there is also a crisis between the women because everyone wants to get together with Adam. However, the killers have found out where Adam is and they manage to bring the three women into their power. Adam doesn’t let it sit on him, and he succeeds in defending his new home against the killers.

criticism
"In spite of the distribution title, not an agent thriller, but a romantic comedy about emotional confusion and generation gaps, which overall remains rather unimportant."
"Somewhat funny: 007 as a joke."
"Ex-Bond Roger Moore [...] and" Rocky "wife Talia Shire [...] in an appealingly human crime comedy. The directorial work by Robert Ellis Miller [...] impresses with its cheerful serenity, can certainly come up with action and gives Moore one more opportunity to shine as a charming rooster in the basket.
