Ruth Loebner

Ruth Löbner (born March 24, 1976 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German writer .

Life

Ruth Löbner, née Ropertz, grew up in Korschenbroich . She studied general linguistics in Cologne and Düsseldorf. Today she lives with her family in Mönchengladbach, where she works as a freelance children's book author .

Löbner's debut novel "Papa, Jonas und der Tausch-Sonntag", which was published by Tulipan Verlag in 2010, was nominated for the 2010 Young Talent Award of the German Academy for Children's and Young Adult Literature and was named "Book of the Month" by the same.
