Gabriella Engelmann

Gabriella Engelmann (* 1966 in Munich ) is a German author who also writes under the pseudonym Rebecca Fischer.

Life

Gabriella Engelmann was born in Munich and spent her childhood there. In her youth she moved to Hamburg with her mother , where she still lives today. She is a trained bookseller, worked as a publishing director for a children's book publisher, as a lecturer and literary scout. Her debut novel Die Promijägerin was published on December 1, 2004. Today she writes novels and books for children and young people. The novel Wild Rose Summer reached number 16 on the Spiegel bestseller list in May 2016 . Gabriella Engelmann reached 14th place on the Spiegel bestseller list in April 2017 with the novel Beach Lilac Flowers . The novel beach chair dreams reached number 11 on the Spiegel bestseller list in April 2018.
