Vier- und Marshland

The Vier- und Marschlande are a 13,163 hectare agricultural area with 27,431 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2015) in the Hamburg district of Bergedorf . While the Marschlande have been part of the Hamburg region since the late 14th century, the Vierlande were administered jointly by Hamburg and Lübeck until the 19th century . After the end of the "two-city" rule ( condominium ) in 1867, they came completely to Hamburg.

Until March 1, 2008, the Vier- und Marschlande formed a common local office area .
