Maggers United is a rock band from Hamburg .
history
Maggers United was founded in 2003 after a German-language song happened during a rehearsal. The band decided to release the song Leck mich wie () der Sommer along with two other songs. The demo Quadratisch, Hanseatisch, Gut ... was distributed in various pubs in and around the Kiez, from which now, in permanent rotation, Leck mich echoed like () the summer .
In 2004 the band signed a deal with Rodeostar, and they got in touch with Lotto King Karl , who soon made the band his main support band. Maggers United played with him several times in the Color Line Arena, which was sold out with 15,000 people, and in Hamburg's city park. After the EP Leck mich wie () der Sommer , on which Lotto King Karl co-produced and also had a guest appearance, and the single Hamburg Ciddy in 2005, the band finally released their first album Nur Siege - Keine Niederlagen , which by Frank Itt and Maggers United in Studio 4 in Stade.
The second album MU was released in May 2008. With Ich liebe Dich it contains a cover version of the classic Clowns & Heroes including a guest appearance by Carsten Pape and a collaboration with celebrity chef Tim Mälzer on the song Tüdelband . On December 13, 2008, a live show was recorded at Logo in Hamburg. A live DVD was officially released in April 2010.
At the end of 2012, the 8-track mini album The Last Turns Out the Light was released in limited self-distribution. For the 10th anniversary of the band, in November 2013, the album Auf die Meister und Superhits! published by WMP / New Music Distribution. The additionally available “10 Years Limited Edition” included an “Acoustic Session” bonus CD and various merchandise items.
The album Schnaps, Zorn & Zweifel was released on September 23, 2016 . The music video for “Tell me where does the music come from” was also released.
