Magnus F. Andersson

Magnus F. Andersson (born June 26, 1953 in Karlskrona ) is a Swedish composer and trombonist .

Life

Anderson first studied trombone and other brass instruments at the Stockholm Music Education Institute (SMI) . In 1978 he passed his exam. From 1983 to 1990 he studied composition with Daniel Börtz , Lars-Erik Rosell , Bengt-Arne Wallin , Sven-David Sandström and Per Lindgren . In 1991 he completed his studies in composition in Paris .

In 1991, during the WASBE Conference in Valencia, he received wide attention for his composition Sous le pont, sous le temps . For the city of Stockholm he composed the Förändringsfanfar on the occasion of the European Capital of Culture award . Since 1998 he has also turned his attention to the field of electroacoustic music .
