Magnus Wernblom (born February 3, 1973 in Kramfors ) is a former Swedish ice hockey player . During his career he played between 1990 and 2008 for MODO Hockey Örnsköldsvik and Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Elitserien .

Career

Wernblom began his career with Kramfors-Alliansen in the HockeyAllsvenskan . After two seasons he moved to MoDo Hockey Örnsköldsvik in the Elitserien in 1990 , for which he played for a total of 14 years and made it to the junior national team of Sweden there. He also holds the record at MODO with the most goals scored and the most games played.

In the Sweden Hockey Games 1999 , he was appointed the tournament in the All-Star team.

In 2004 he decided to move to Skellefteå AIK , with whom he rose from HockeyAllsvenskan to the Elitserien. After the 2006/07 season he returned to his long-time club MODO Hockey and finally announced his resignation on November 4, 2008.
