The Majadahonda Hockey Club is a Spanish ice hockey club from Majadahonda , which was founded in 1992 and has been playing in the super league since 1996 .
history
The Majadahonda HC was founded in 1992 and filled the gap that the CH Boadilla had left in the Madrid area two years earlier. In the 1996/97 season, the club played for the first time in the Superliga , the highest ice hockey league in Spain. Just a year later, Majadahonda became Spanish champions . Since CH Madrid competed in the Super League with its own team in 2002, Majadahonda stopped playing in the senior division for two years. The club has been playing in the first division without interruption since 2004 and, after winning the playoff quarter-finals over CH Txuri Urdin, reached the playoffs semi -finals for the first time in nine years, in which the Madrid suburb club beat the future champions FC Barcelona lost with 1: 6 and 2: 8.
