Majoe & Jasko is a German rap duo from Duisburg that has been under contract with the label Banger Musik founded by Farid Bang since 2012 .

Band history

Majoe (civil Mayjuran Ragunathan, * 1989 in Duisburg) is a son of Tamil immigrants. Majoe's family fled to Germany from the civil war in Sri Lanka . Jasko (bourgeois Jasmin Nuradinović, * 1989 in Novi Pazar , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a son of Bosniak immigrants. As a child he and his family fled to Germany because of the Yugoslav wars. They both grew up in Duisburg and had a similar circle of friends in which they started rapping. From the beginning, they became such a team and made some videos that they posted on YouTube . In 2011 her EP takeover was released in self-distribution . In addition, a video was released on shut up . So they caught the attention of Farid Bang, who signed them as the first of his label Banger Musik . In 2012 the EP was re-released. As support they were on Farid Bang's tour The Last Day of Your Life . This was followed by the debut album Mobbing Musik , which reached number 82 in the German album charts. In 2014, the song next time came out, which was rapped together with Majoe, Jasko and Kay One. On September 5, 2014, Majoe's solo album Breiter als der Türsteher was released . At that moment, the rap duo broke up prematurely. The reason for this was the disinterest Jasko showed in making music. He had a lot to do with his bar and was therefore not dependent on the music. After the breakup, he released his first solo album when comes, then comes out in 2016 .
