Mala'e is a village in the Hihifo district in the Kingdom of Uvea , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

Mala'e is located in the center of the Hihifo district south of the nearby Hihifo airport . The village is sparsely populated with small houses and flows in the northeast to the neighboring village of Alele .
